Then the pink angora yarn is dried, and I am very satisfied with the color. The merino wool I dyed, came out very pretty. I was a little bit curious on how the result would be, since I just took a dash with one color and a dash of another color. The colors look like a rustred dark orange colors

New KoolAid dye project.

This time it seems that I get the pink color I want, shall never trust on the visuell color I got when I make the color.

I also dyed some white merino rovings, I just stir some KoolAid together and then heatet the jar up on the stove. Wonder what colors this will be, when I have spun the wool.

More angora knitting finish, some dying of yarn.

Here is some of the different type of mittens I have knitted in wildgrey and white&black angora yarn.

Everybody who has hand dyed now that sometimes the result is not what you want, but then you are getting surprised when it turn out verry pretty Just look at my dying project. The idea was to dye pink, but well the photos talk for itself.

Knitting guild and more yarn finish.

Since we can’t get enough of the knitting guild, some of us had to meet up tuesday also. Vivi, tittei and Linda came.

In Norway we have christmas dinnerparty for friends before, christmas day.

This year I invited all my friends from Hobbyboden, Bergen, to a pre christmas dinnerparty but with korean food instead of the traditional norwegian food.
It was a great success, it was served the tradionell meal Bulgoggi, chap chae, different kimchi dishes, rice and kim. Non of the girls gave up eating with chopsticks, impressing. I had before promised to make the food not to strong, and they loved the food. Next year, it will be made stronger

The girls was so lovley, look what I got from them. A lovely plant, called Amarylis from Kicki, hope I don’t kill it beautiful maskmarker from Merete, from Tittei a gorgous canvas who was perfect to my new salon table with a beatiful crystal to have light in. And from all of the girls, two knitting basket with knitting needle basket. How did you know that I wished for knitting basket girls? It is Elimor who has made theme, thank you all for the lovely gifts

I don’t have photos from the dinner, but I am sure that some of the other girls will have photos in there blogs soon. I just have photos as the evening went on, well in fact it was to the morning after. Titte, Tutten, Dyveke, Vivi and Lises left first at 0630 in the morning

As usualy we all was knittin, well I was spinning a little bit with my Bubinga drop spindle. It was very intresting as the hour went by, how the different knitting project went on. Since there was some alcohol on the table, some was very productiv, some had suddenly made new pattern, and someone got never finish with here project

Korean pre christmas dinner party.

I started already on thursday with some of the food preparing. Friday, Vivi came and help me cutting and slashing everything up. I was going to make traditional kimchi, beansprout kimchi, cucumber kimchi, chap chae, bulgoggi, rice and kim.
Vivi was digging in my wool stock, and picked up some color she would have made yarn of.

Knitting birthday party.

Well, since it has happen so much the latest days, I just have to update it all, we start with thursday Vivi invited to knitting birthday party, a excellent idea who everybody now has adopted. We had a lovly evening, and as usely it was knitting and chatting a lot.

I had some left over angora yarn, I just wanted to get rid of. This is Tittei, taken the rest

New shawl in feather and fan finish.

First of all as you maybe has notice, I just write in english from now on. It is easiere that way, I mean everybody can read english.

I have finish with a new shawl in feather and fan pattern, knitted in the red merino&silk blend I spun for a while ago. Was a little bit nervous that I did’nt had enough yarn, since I just had bought 50 gram of the wool. But it was enough to get a long shawl in feather and fan.

Busy, busy.

It is so busy now, it has been little time to update my blog. Just come home from a wonderful holiday in USA, San Diego. I traveld with a very good friend of my, Anita. The deal was that I could have 2 days at National Minature Dachshund Club show.
San Dieog is a fabulous city. So much cultur, from the Oldtown where it feels like you are in Mexico to Downtown who is modern with great shopping streat wit more. Of course we visit Sea World with the Shamu show, great and specatular show. And if you ever wonder what the splash zone means, well short story ; you will get wet :0)
Since Grand Canyon was not to far from San Diego (about 7-8 hours drive) we rented a car and drived to Grand Canyon. About Grand Canyon is diffucult to describe, it is a place you just have to visit for you self. It is gorgeous, fantastic, marvelous and impressing all at the same time. But if you have possibilitet to stay for more then one day, doe that and discover Grand Canyon other ways then only from the Bright Angel point view.
I will come back to San Diego I just fall in love in the city, and Grand Canyon? Well I can’t understand the person who don’t want to go back.

Here home the Hundhelsesenteret in Bergen has open, it is a center for rehabilition, swimming, homepathi, healing, massage, acupunktur, physiotherapy and beauty salon for the dogs. My new company Bergen Hundehealing, is located at Hundehelsesenteret. It is so much to doe in the start, both places has website that I am the webmaster for.

In the hobby acticity, I have spun up a lot of angora wool. So soon I am ready to begin to knit angora products again.

The dogs need also to be take care of, so the blog don’t have the most priority no at days. Here is some few photos from the USA trip, enjoy.
