The rain are back.

Well, it is not typical when you are ready to take the dogs on there trip, the sky turn dark and it is suddenly begin to rain with heavy wind. Not a lovely weather to go out in. So I the kids got there dinner, and the angoras are next. I took two of the cage yesterday, begin to clip Alfie on here back and front. So today it is the two last cage and the rest of Alfies clip. I always clip the angora over two days, my back is better then and the angora is not so impatience.
So now I have white angora wool to spin of again, I know a couple of knitting friends who will be happy.

Kelly are still with here fiancè, we just have to arange to get here home to Bergen again.

I also finish the angora scarf I have knitted to a friend of mine, I hope he will get satisfied. And finaly all of the angora are finish with there clip, it is just 3 month to next time

Well, it was not long we had snow.

Today the mild weather has come back, and it has begin to rain. I am sure that it soon will be cold, then ice, snow typical Bergen winter.

I got Kelly home today, she has been on holiday with here best friend Wyhme. They play and are very found of eachother. She is in season so she is in a cage here in the living room, with Charlie right beside the cage. Hi think it is very unfair that hi can’t mate here. But it is just to tomorrow she will be here, then  Merete who work at the Hundehelsesenteret and Dyreklinnken på Stend will take here with here on the flight to Oslo. So Charlie will just have one day with here in the house, so hi will not be to stress.
Since the dog that are travling in cabin, they need a special dog bag. I got tips and bougt one at Plantasjen, half of the price I would have paid in a zoo shop.

Juhu, I have bought my christmas presents.

Christmas present from my parenst was new mountains boots, but since it have been raining since christmas and before that I had no any hurry to buy them. But after today when I was wet and cold on my feet after the trip in the woods, I went up to the sportstore after the kids had got there dinner, get the fireplace to get burn again, warm shower, some food to myself and then got in the car to buy new mountain boots. My old one is Crispi Beseggen and they are 10 years old, I have been very satisfied with this model so I so now reason to change the model.

It is winter in Bergen, well at least for a time.

Sunday it stoped raining and I think that we did not beat the rain record that is on 103 days. 85 days with rain I think that is enough, ore what doe you think?
So Sunday we got the cold weather and yesterday the snow came. It tok the kids on a trip along the roads, but even on the sidewalk it was so much salt. That they after a while was limping on three feet, Charlie I had to carry for a while.

So today we went to the woods, it was so lovely. Snow everywhere, and when it is rock ground that had ice on sunday. Well, you know when it then come snow, you see my point? Yes, I falled, typical me – but I did not hurt myself to much. Just my ankle is a little bit tender, at least I did not fall on any of the kids.

For my brother and sister-in-law I have knitted some baby booties and wristlets, knitted in handspun angora yarn.

My next order is a angora scarf to a friend of mine, I need a lot of order now. Kelly is going to be mated, and with the stud fee, high electricity and insurance bill that always come in january it would help a lot to my finance with much order now.

I am also going to have knitting/tupperware party next week, it is time to sell out and get rid of my stock with tupperware.

Well, spinning a lot of angora yarn ;o)

After a long time with just spinning angora, I was begin to get rely feed up to spin angora. Yeah, it is possible, you can get tired of spinning 100% angora. The fibre is so fine and you cant spin so fast then else.

More mega skein with angora yarn finish

Finish with more angora yarn, but now I will spin something else then angora. Well, until I got more withe wool from Alfie.
I have to spin to much latly, when I was going to hang up my mega skein with angora yarn. I found more angora yarn, already dried. I had totaly forgot that skein, so now I can knit more without waiting on this skein

This skein is 390 gram and 989 m (1081,50 yards) puh. It took a long time to ply this together.

Hurricane hit Bergen last night.

From rain season to hurricane last night, and if that was not terrible enough a oil tanker has got down outside the coast. Fedje are a small comunity, and since the readiness is very low from the goverment and the hurricane who hit the westcoast the cleaning is very difficult. It is a lot of volunter from WWW.
Here in my town the damage from the hurricane are big, for myself I have been lucky just a brick missing from my roof. The damage at my parents and sister house where much worse, the bad weather has move into the countrie and it is predicted bad weather for a week. I think that I prefer rain, but best if the we soon can see some sun again.

Otherwise the day has been used to cleaning the angoras cage, and finish with clipping Dina. Tomorrow it is Cirkeline tourn to get finish, the plan was to doe it today. But both cleaning the cage’s and clipping finish two angora, well my back think that is to much
I will take photos of Dina and Cirkeline tomorrow.

No it is the dog who is getting there tour, then it is back to ply the angora yarn. It is so much that it seems that I never will get finish, but I wonder if the plying bobbin is taken the two regular bobbin’s.

Well here is Billy finish, don’t know if hi is quite satisfied with his new look But to be more serious, they have it much better after the clip. And the first they doe after there clipping is to begin to fix there coat every where, since they now can get everywhere on there body.

Then I remembered to take the camera with me out in the garage, and here is Alfie:

I am also finish spinning one full bobbin with wild-grey angora and one with white angora, now the plying begin wonder how long time this will take?

It is time again to clip all my angora’s again, it will be a busy week. Especially because I clip each angora to times, then the angora don’t get to impatiens and my back is still good after the clipping

I am participate in a Spinning swap, it’s working in the way that I have got my own swap friend who I am going to spin a skein to. And then I have secret swap friend, both of them are I in contact with. And now I am soon beginning to spin the skein to my swap friend.

Knitted some wristlets of the Kool-Aid dyed angora yarn I did for a while ago. Little bit to strong color for me, so they will be for sale. But the color is nice.
