Puppy update.

It is very busy no at days, the puppies moved down in the living room yesterday.The took the change easy and are well comfortable in the living room, they also got a large puppy yard now. I also have updatet the photo album to the f-litter.

I was also visiting a breeder friend of me that breed Bearded Collie, she has puppies now lovly little teddy bear.

I also ordered a lot of wool and fiber from Wollknoll (Germany) and from Spinnvilt (Norway). The largest order I send to Wollknoll, they are so cheap so it is easy to get a little bit to crazy when you send a order. So all my birthday money got to this two ordered.

Yesterday I had knitting birthdayparty.

It is always nice to have knitting guild, but it is much nicer to have knitting birthday party. Look on all the goodies I got from my good knitting friends.

I also got some money from my siblings and mum and dad, so Wollknoll here I come.

I forgot to take photos of the two cakes I made from my new mixmaster, not for braging but to show what I made from my mixmaster. It works much better then the old one I had.

Puppies and spinning.

Yeah, I have some time to spin also, most try to get be finished with most of the angora wool before the little ones is moving down in the living room. Don’t know how much the spinning wheel can be left alone, I am not going to have any chewing mark so it is good that that it is Little Gem I have.

I have been finish with a skein of wildgrey angora, but thougth it was so much fuzz coming of so it is to washing now. I doe a rough washing and end up with nearly boiling water, because I do know that then the yarn is closing again.

Daily life and new experience.

Well I had heard that coking product with teflon is not good to use when the teflon are beginning to disapear. Well today I learn that it is right, I got sick after preparing the food. It tasted a little bit strange, but I did not think over that. Well, the whole evning I have not been good, but the most stupid are that I have did this one time earlier. But did not connect it, but this time the frying-pan is going in the trash at once.

Okey, done is done over to something news and a happy event, since it is my birthday tomorrow and I am not going to celebraite the day. I had wish for a new mixmaster since my other did not work anymore. So today my mother and me shoped a new mixmaster, so now I can bake cake again.

Finaly the wristlet with dobbel fold are finish.

I doe like this pattern very much, but I have to consentrat to follow the fold. So I doe use a lot of time to knit them, hopfuly I would have knitted more of them to the sales marked I am having a stand in the end of april. But know the time have to go to spin up the angora and knitting easiere pattern.

The wool is hand dyed blue face leicester and aussie merino, it is dyed with Wilton’s Delphinium blue.

Time for angora clipping again.

Yesterday I begin the clipping on the angora and  Billy was first out. That little rascal is a nightmar to clip. I don’t know if it is because hi is so tame that hi can’t sit still for more then 5 min, and the whole time thinking on jumping of the chair. I could rely k…….. him sometimes, the clipping is taken the dubbel of the time. But I have begin to cliped them over two days, so I finish him today.

Since my back was quite good, I also begin on Dina the ladys are a dream to clip. They just sit still and wait patience to I am finish, but I still take them over two days. It is better for my back and for them, hopefully next clipping time I will have the shearing machin in house. The cliping will then take the half of the time then it is today, maybe then Billy can behave better (it is allowed to dream).

Since it is boring to whole time see a nude angora, I have taken photos of all the wool that is ready to spin now.

I also dyed some angora yarn with Wilton’s royal blue. the reason to why it is difference in the colours is that one of the skein is org. wildgrey angora and the other skein is a blend of wildgrey and white angora. Intresting to see the shadings in the colours, even if it is the same dyes that it is used.

KoolAid dyeing.

Some photos of the angora&alpaca yarn I dyed with KoolAid, the brown colour is equal deal with orange and grape. The grape lookalike is from grape, ice blue rasberry and blue berry. The third yarn is rely dark violet, dyed with Wilton’s. But for some reason the colour don’t come right out in the photos.

Some puppie photos, they are 1 week old today doe I need say more

For while ago I knitted a couple of pocket slippers, from the handspun yarn my secret pal Allena was spinning to me.

I had a lot of white angora and white alpaca I had been spinning, but since I thougt the colour where rely boring. I decied to dye some skeins, since I know that it is many who like brown I tried to get a nice brown colours from KoolAid. Not quite my favorit colour, but I think that it went well.

Here are the knitting I am doing know, it shall be wrist warmer with fold pattern. This is the BFL and aussie merino I dyed with Wilton’s Delphinium blue.
