New yarn to my webstore :o)

I have been and are busy with dyeing up new yarn, got in HK Sofuse, HK Joy and a new yarn HK Angela who is a soft lovely sw merino75% & nylon 25%.
I had a name contest to my new yarn on Uformelt, and there Margot won, given the new sw merino&nylon yarn: HK Angela. For the price it was a handdyed yarn in the colors she wanted, can’t put out a photo here before she has got it 😛

Have also been finish with Monkey socks from Cookie A, loved this patter and have began on a new Monkey sock, this time no purl Monkey.

Knitted with HK Joy, color Turqoise, much more intens and lovley color, but have some problem to get the colors right. If you have some suggestion, I would be happy 😛

Ups, some time since last bloging ;o)

Okey, yes I know it is a very long time since last bloging, don’t know where the time is going.

A lot of personal stuff has happen, some happy moments but also a lot of sad moments. But time do heal and we all learn to live our life further. I am not going to write about what has happen, but I am back again.

So what is happen know?
Pippi has got here puppies, Mikey is the proud father and they are now 10 days old.

I have also uploaded new HK handdyed yarn to HK Spindles & Fiber, two of them are new types; HK Mookie that is Superwash merino wool and HK Blues that is Superwash Blue Face Leicester. I have also put the HK Batts to discount on 40%.

I have also knitted a little bit;

Mingus – a lovely patttern from Cookie A. Knitted in Yukon

Hurricane hat – that was the hat for July at Luer for huer a hat along that is on Uformelt.net

Tiger Eye Lace shawl, given to a person that means a lot for me.
The yarn was handspun by me on one of my drop spindle from a fiber blend of he yarn is a blend of 70% suri alpaca, 20% mulberry silk, 10% cashmere.

So that was all for now, suddenly I will be back 😀

More handdyed yarn

Here is what I lately have handdyed of yarn, it is HK Sofuse that is a sock weight with sw merino/cashmere/nylon blend and HK Joy that also is a sock weight yarn with sw BFL/nylon blend. I will defintly have the cashmere blend sock yarn in my stock regulary, I love this yarn 😛

Yarn arrived ;o)

I got message that the yarn should arrive Wednesday, but today the yarn landed. I should rely not post it here, since I know a lot of people are waiting on more of my HK yarn, but I could not resist.
There was also some more kg then I remember I had orded, so I hope I know have for a little while. Maybe a few weeks 😛

The latest news is that I have got in sock yarn in 80% Superwashed
Merino/ 10% Nylon/ 10%Cashmere this time I will keep some skein for my self I hope 😀
Lace yarn in both 800 m and 1200 m on 100 gram, in 70% Baby Alpaca/ 20% Silk/ 10%Cashmere.

So time to get started 😛

Yesterday, I had knitting birthday. I got some lovely presents and we had a very nice evening 😛

I have also dyed up some more yarn, it has begin to sell out very fast.  So the next week will be busy, need to get a lot of dyeing done so I can put up more next weekend.

Workshop and more hand dyed yarn.

Yesteday I was invited to Åsane Folkehøyskole to have a workshop with dyeing yarn and spinning on drop spindle, it went very well but to little time to doe both dyeing and spinning. But I think people was happy with the workshop.

Since I was every where I forgot to take photos, but I know there was som who took so will post it later.

I have also dyed up more yarn and wool tops, here is photos of the yarn. The wool tops I have not taken photos of yet, but will come very soon and will be updatet in my web shop HK Spindles and Fiber.

HK Spindles & Fiber are open for business :o)

Finally the web shop for my new business are open, the idea to start a new business (as I don’t already has enough with my other business: 😆 is that I love to spin with drop spindle and want to could offer very good quality drop spindles in different brand and size.

I am also going to have classes in spinning with drop spindles and the first class start in august 🙂

For fiber there is white, nature colored, handpainted, silk, silk blend, different softness (micron) etc. More new fiber will come, I am looking after other new suppliers for some different blend, like bamboo/soy/silk etc.
