Tuesday I had knittingbirthday party as always it was a great party, look what I got from the girls 😀

It was a great knitting birthday party 😀

I have also orded some new drop spindle from Bosworth, but since I would like to have them with walnut shaft it will take a little while before they arrive. So when I look at Spinnulla’s webshop and so the Greensleeves Vixen – Tulipwood 19 gram I had to try one of them, I gave Wenche the owner to Spinnulla some shipping tips and look how nice and lovely she is. I could choose 100 gram with what wool/fiber I wanted, of course I had to accept that gift 😛
I choosed Bambus Aegean, the color are gorgeous and the softness in this bambus are so soft.

Since I took a photo in the evening, the colors are not quite right. Look here for the correct color.

Yesterdays must funny knitting guild.

The knitting lady’s is back in town, last evening I had invited the Bergen’s lady to a knitting evening. We did a swap this time that was arranged the way that everybody put a packet in a large bag and we all got one back 😛

This was the yarn I got and Irenetur was my pal, it is Oleana yarn 🙂

You know about Skype? Well since Annevenn left with here family to Bahrain the only way I have had contact with here is true mail. But yesterday we found a very good way to have contact. Yepp, Skype with webcamera is a good way to keep in contact with friends. Normaly I would never bought a web camera, but found out that to keep in touch with Annevenn in Bahrain this was great. So today I bought a webcamera, and look here who is with us on knitting party 😛

I also took with me the dogs to swim training and Ellie is no 36 cm around the chest, when she begin the swimming she was 42 cm so it is very effective.

I forgot to tell who was there, it was Irenetur, Tittei, Lises, Merete, Tutten, Kiwa, Cruzidull, Vivian, Kicki, Synne, Stillow, Dyveke and of course Annevenn from Bahrain.

Well, it seems that it is weekly updates for the time beeing.

So therefore I have to begin with last weekend, I took a flight over to Asker. My best mate Kenneth was going to be married to his fiancèe Rikke. The wedding was beautiful it was very nice to meet Kenneth’s family again and also to meet Rikke’s family for the first time. I think I have knew Kenneth in about 12 years ore so, hi is like I wrote in the beginning my best mate, hi is the kind of friend that always are there for you if you need a friend. Hi is also the kind of friend that you can be so mad off when we discuss something professional, but that never goes out of our friendship and yes I have been so mad at him 🙂 So as you maybe understand, hi means a lot to me. So of course I come to his wedding, I must also say that Rikke is a wonderful young woman.
I also meet some of my old pals from Fana Red Cross (hjelpekorps), that was very nice since it is some years since I have seen some of them.

The only thing I was a little sad over, was that I had a idea of that my new digtial camera Nikon 40 was to big to take with me. So I borrowed my fathers new camera, that was not a good idea. Yes, it is small but, but a good advice don’t borrow a camera you never had used before. So therefore the photos are not of the best quality. Typical enough I use Kenneth’s Nikon D50 the rest of the evening and took a lot of photos 🙂 So next time I take my camera with me 😛

It has also been some time to spinning, so here is my latest handspun yarn.

I also bought this little zapper it gives small electric shock to the skin, it helps if you have got mosquito bite. I am allergic to this small h…. bugs so instead of using strong antihistamin I try everything and this did not cost so much. And hurry, it helps no more wound and swolling and crazy scratching.

So this was a little bit of my week, this weekend I have taken it easy just relaxing with the dogs 🙂

Long update.

It is already june 9 and much has happen since last updatet. So here is a quick (long) update 🙂
The last weekend I went with Charlie and Kelly on dog show in Drammen, it was just Charlie that was going to the show. Hi showed like hi always doe, hi is a fun dog to show in the ring. But unfortuanelly his was to big around his chest so both day we went out with a 2 KVAL, I have for a while put him on a diet but hi still has some gram he can loose.

But we had a nice weekend, meet up with one of my puppie buyer that has Charlie and Kelly’s litter brother; Garvin. She had help me with finding hotel room, it was about 20 min outside Oslo. But I prefer to live in the country part, where I can walk with the dogs around a little lake then live in Oslo city at hotel.  It was very nice to see both Nina and Garvin again, long time no since last time. Charlie thougt that Garvin was fun and begin to play with him, so it was not so easi to take a good photos of them. But here is at least one photo.

I have also had a little time to spin, so here is one skein finish with the collie wool I got from Grethe. It is from a blue merle collie, unfortuanelly I can’t keep the yarn. I am spinning on commision for Grethe, that have plan to knit up a sweather in 100% collie wool.

For a while ago I took a shopping round at Ikea, I needed to have some basket to have my wool and yarn in. And this two look like a perferct idea, but wen I come home I so a little bit closer on them when I came home and it did not have a zipper around like I thought.
But they are alright, and as you can see in the blue one the yarn I shop on Spar Kjoep today is perferctly placed in the basket. Spar Kjoep, has sales on the yarn and I need soon to begin to knit more winebasket.

When I was out to shop at To Damer, I so this pattern and thougt it was so nice so I bought it.

Kicki had birthday party this wednesday and she is a fabolous hostess, so much good to eat. Lises, Irenetur, Fru Fryds Gleder, Kiwa and myself gave Kicki Mirasol in different color and Knitpicks opitons needles tips in size 4,5 and 5 with 1m cable.

Before I was going to the birthday party, I stopped at Stine (Stillow). She arranged course in making dichroice jewel’s and no they where ready to assemble. Here are some photos from the course:

I am waiting for a photo from Stine she took of me and my finish dichoirc jewels. I sold the one in middle at the birthday party to Kicki, one of here nabo so my jewlels and like it so good and ask me if I would like to sell it. That was no problem for me, I thought it was fun to learn how to make dichoric jewels but it was not quite my type of hoby 🙂

Yesterday I had knitting birthdayparty.

It is always nice to have knitting guild, but it is much nicer to have knitting birthday party. Look on all the goodies I got from my good knitting friends.

I also got some money from my siblings and mum and dad, so Wollknoll here I come.

I forgot to take photos of the two cakes I made from my new mixmaster, not for braging but to show what I made from my mixmaster. It works much better then the old one I had.

In Norway we have christmas dinnerparty for friends before, christmas day.

This year I invited all my friends from Hobbyboden, Bergen, to a pre christmas dinnerparty but with korean food instead of the traditional norwegian food.
It was a great success, it was served the tradionell meal Bulgoggi, chap chae, different kimchi dishes, rice and kim. Non of the girls gave up eating with chopsticks, impressing. I had before promised to make the food not to strong, and they loved the food. Next year, it will be made stronger 🙂

The girls was so lovley, look what I got from them. A lovely plant, called Amarylis from Kicki, hope I don’t kill it 😉 beautiful maskmarker from Merete, from Tittei a gorgous canvas who was perfect to my new salon table with a beatiful crystal to have light in. And from all of the girls, two knitting basket with knitting needle basket. How did you know that I wished for knitting basket girls? It is Elimor who has made theme, thank you all for the lovely gifts 🙂

I don’t have photos from the dinner, but I am sure that some of the other girls will have photos in there blogs soon. I just have photos as the evening went on, well in fact it was to the morning after. Titte, Tutten, Dyveke, Vivi and Lises left first at 0630 in the morning 😉

As usualy we all was knittin, well I was spinning a little bit with my Bubinga drop spindle. It was very intresting as the hour went by, how the different knitting project went on. Since there was some alcohol on the table, some was very productiv, some had suddenly made new pattern, and someone got never finish with here project 😉
