Yes, I know some times since latest bloging.

But there is so much to do this days and my health are not the best also, so what has happen since last bloging?

Last Monday I had the «Bergen knitting lady’s» here, a new idea we have no is to have a swap. This time after voting we had a swap with sock yarn and secret pattern, this is what I got from Irenetur lovely green Opal and English pattern 😛

secret-sock-swap.jpg

I also ball wind the English angora yarn I was finish with for a while ago, this wool was bought from Leah in Michigan.

I measured the yarn it is 4.06 ounce and 550 yards, this is what I have begin to knit; a shawl in feather and fan.

phoebe-feather-and-fan.jpg

I know that is not good of my to have a favorite dog, but I must admit Charlie is my special boy 🙂

charlie-boy-29-okt-07.jpg

Just take a look at him, are you not agree?

Socks and wristlets.

First products in the yarn I made from collie and gotland it is one tread of each, plyed together. I don’t know the english word for ragg sokker, but it is good thick warm socks to where in boots ore just use when you are inndoors 🙂

p5280007.jpg

From the Charcoal Merino/Tussah Silk Laps I bougth from Leah, I used the Navaho ore chain plying, you can see photos of the yarn in the post; More shopping. From that yarn I knitted a couple of wristlets, it is a very easi pattern and one can also use two colors to get a little more «live» in the wristlets.

p5280013.jpg

Else it has been very quiet in the house after the puppies have left, but no I can’t get the spinning go again. The last week it was inpossible to get done any spinning, then the puppies think the treadle was very funny and would just play and bite on them. I have more Collie wool on the bobbin, so I just have to get finish with all the Collie. One reason is that this yarn is spinning on a order from the dog owner to the Collie’s, and also that it is a a little bit stench of dog in my living room.

Lots of updating

It has been so busy for a while that it the only new posting has been of the puppies,so here we goe.

My latest work, I have most of the time knitted. Some pocket slipper, calometri, wristlets knitted in angora, angora&alpaca and the calometri in the paste colours are from the handspun yarn my lovely secret pal Allena was spinning to me. That is a blend of kid mohair/alpaca/merino, lovely yarn.

It is winter in Bergen, well at least for a time.

Sunday it stoped raining and I think that we did not beat the rain record that is on 103 days. 85 days with rain I think that is enough, ore what doe you think?
So Sunday we got the cold weather and yesterday the snow came. It tok the kids on a trip along the roads, but even on the sidewalk it was so much salt. That they after a while was limping on three feet, Charlie I had to carry for a while.

So today we went to the woods, it was so lovely. Snow everywhere, and when it is rock ground that had ice on sunday. Well, you know when it then come snow, you see my point? Yes, I falled, typical me – but I did not hurt myself to much. Just my ankle is a little bit tender, at least I did not fall on any of the kids.

Here are some funy photos from the trip. And a tips, when you are taken you camera with you, remeber to have with you a resevere battery 😛 So it was just 4 photos, and then the battery was empty.

I am also going to have knitting/tupperware party next week, it is time to sell out and get rid of my stock with tupperware.

Og det har vært et stort problem til i dag, fikk tips fra en annen spinner som har Majacraft Little Gem 2 og etter litt forandring på noen av innstilingene på rokken så spinner jeg :))
