Time for some bloging again.

Yes, I know some times since last bloging, but to be frankly I have no time since I need to get all the accounting done for my my firm. Coming back from holiday to work, I see know why it is important to have a backup that function since my client arkiv is also gone. Lucky enough I have a very good memory on how they are in the health program.

But that was the boring stuff, no over to what I have done and before I forget it Happy New year to you all 😛

Yesterday there come a great packet from Peggy, she is one of my good spinner pal that live in US. Before christmas Peggy and I was talking about candy, and then I suddenly remember that Cousins Candy shop that make Salt Watetaffy have a online store. Cousins Candy Shop has a store in Old Town San Diego, where Anita and I was there in 2007. I think you already guess where I want, yes I love the taffy they make. So then I order some for Peggy since she is so kind getting everything I want for me and of course some to me 🙂 I also get a hang on Lifesaver and they are just sold in US, so Peggy bought some bags for me. I would be very happy for just a couple of bag with sweets, but WOW she bought 6 bags for me 😛 There was also 6 skeins from the Limited edition to Tofutsies, thank you so much for all the help Peggy, you are just great 🙂

I also got more stuff from US, last autum I sign up for Chameleon Colorworks fiber of the month club. But unfortuanelly the roving never came, when I emailed the new owner and explan what had happen. She offered to send me new rovings at once, and look at this gorgours roving she send me. It is Optim, that I am very excited to try since I have never spin it and other spinners say it is a difficult fiber to spin. It is made from australain Merino in a special process and have silky touch feeling and style.

Well, it seems that it is weekly updates for the time beeing.

So therefore I have to begin with last weekend, I took a flight over to Asker. My best mate Kenneth was going to be married to his fiancèe Rikke. The wedding was beautiful it was very nice to meet Kenneth’s family again and also to meet Rikke’s family for the first time. I think I have knew Kenneth in about 12 years ore so, hi is like I wrote in the beginning my best mate, hi is the kind of friend that always are there for you if you need a friend. Hi is also the kind of friend that you can be so mad off when we discuss something professional, but that never goes out of our friendship and yes I have been so mad at him 🙂 So as you maybe understand, hi means a lot to me. So of course I come to his wedding, I must also say that Rikke is a wonderful young woman.
I also meet some of my old pals from Fana Red Cross (hjelpekorps), that was very nice since it is some years since I have seen some of them.

Here are a photos of the luckly newlyweds:
newlyweds-2.jpg

and of course I had to take a photo with them 😛

rikke-kenneth-and-me.jpg

The only thing I was a little sad over, was that I had a idea of that my new digtial camera Nikon 40 was to big to take with me. So I borrowed my fathers new camera, that was not a good idea. Yes, it is small but, but a good advice don’t borrow a camera you never had used before. So therefore the photos are not of the best quality. Typical enough I use Kenneth’s Nikon D50 the rest of the evening and took a lot of photos 🙂 So next time I take my camera with me 😛

It has also been some time to spinning, so here is my latest handspun yarn.

Fiber: baby camel
Weight: 48 gram – 1.69 ounce
Yardage: 113 gram – 125 yards
WPI: 17

WPI: 40
dsc_0041.jpg

I also bought this little zapper it gives small electric shock to the skin, it helps if you have got mosquito bite. I am allergic to this small h…. bugs so instead of using strong antihistamin I try everything and this did not cost so much. And hurry, it helps no more wound and swolling and crazy scratching.

dsc_0043.jpg

So this was a little bit of my week, this weekend I have taken it easy just relaxing with the dogs 🙂

Yeah, I have some time to spin also, most try to get be finished with most of the angora wool before the little ones is moving down in the living room. Don’t know how much the spinning wheel can be left alone, I am not going to have any chewing mark so it is good that that it is Little Gem I have.

I have been finish with a skein of wildgrey angora, but thougth it was so much fuzz coming of so it is to washing now. I doe a rough washing and end up with nearly boiling water, because I do know that then the yarn is closing again.

Busy weekend

This weekend it was dog show in Bergen, I did not show any of my dogs. But I wish that I had showed Charlie on the Dachshundclub’s show on sunday. It was Mr. Markku Lampero (FIN) who was jugding and did a very good and honost jugding, I learnd a lot from just siting ringside and lissen to what hi sad it was a open jugding. I also got visit from Britt (Foxfoot) that is a breeder friend who came over from Fetsund with two of here dogs to the Dachshunds show. It is always great to meet up with dachsie friends. Charlie behaved very nice, even if it come another male in the house :oP For Britt it went very vell, Boogie got Best in Breed and 4 Best in Show Blues here litter brother became Best of opposite Sex. If you want to look at here dogs, check here website :o)

p3240001.jpg

I did also finish the wool blend I dyed with Wilton’s Delphinium blue, it is one tread of aussie merino and one tread of BFL. It is wonderful soft and I love the colors, one of the reason to why I love this yarn is the way it is coloring itself.
